1. Have fun and make the audience have fun
2. Do the best we could in that moment
3. Aim for B- scores
We knew it would take 62 points to get into B- territory...and we increased by 75 points over our freshman effort in 2008! We were thrilled to surpass our goal and to increase from 15th to 8th place.
But more than the placement or the cute little trophy for Most Improved, we felt like we put the best "product" we could in that moment on the stage. Because "all you can do is all you can do...but all you can do is enough."
Quartetting is such a journey -- much more fun and much more challenging than any of us imagined. We rejoice in the new things we learn every time we sing, and we revel in the fun we have with each other and with our audiences. Thank you to everyone who was willing to listen to us practice this year -- you were amazingly helpful.
Here's to a great next year on the journey!
